History[]
Jugosti created the group in 2020. The leader of Roblox's Myths, Exedious, decided to shut Roblox's Myths on August 1, 2021, in favor of transferring the group to BoM and becoming the joint leader with Will to distance themselves from Kazdam.[1] BoM adopted many of Roblox's Myths traits, most notably the departments, although making other significant changes.
On January 15, 2023, Bureau of Myths was officially shut down by willsveil due to baddieblood, the Assistant Director, raiding the Discord. Her reasoning was due to the outrage surrounding the mistreatment of staff, inactivity concerns, and other reasons. This resulted in the revival of Roblox's Myths by baddieblood, which didn't live long.

| Overseer Council | The Overseer Council supervises BoM's departments and their operations. They also elect their own members. | |

Trivia[]
- There has been criticism of willsveil's leadership of the group, such as distroierONE's retirement letter.
- The star in the centre of Bureau of Myths logo was originally just white, up until the war in Ukraine where the star in the logo was changed to the colours of Ukraine's flag to pay respects to Ukraine, the logos original colours have never been changed from it since.
