This group was created as a community archive for those who enjoy investigating clown myths. The main purpose of Clowns of the West is to preserve and document some of Roblox's greatest clown myths in order to maintain their legacy and keep the tradition alive.
Founded by ClockJpg and Dysphen
History[]
Clowns of the West was created on the 21st of April, 2017, by ClockJpg. A day later a game entitled "The Circus!" would also be created for the group. Other than this, little is known about the early history of the group, as it has not been documented. It is known that the group early on was quite small, with it notably only having 81 members according to an archived post of the group from December 2017.
In January 2018, the founder ClockJpg would give the Clowns of the West group to Dysphen, as the group was quite inactive and he had no idea what to do with it. After this, Dysphen would revive the group, with the group's activity also peaking from the new-found popularity of the The Circus In The Sky group.
Later on in 2019, SwissCheez3, also known as monopolistic, would take over control of the group from Dysphen, although Dysphen would still be the holder account for the group. In November 2019, Dysphen would create a shout in the group stating he was back, likely meaning he would take control of the group once again. From there, the group would continue adding a few members, although it would mainly be inactive.
This would change in 2023, when the group's ownership would be transferred to Mulberries, the owner of Collaboration! and The Double R Bar. This would lead to "The Circus!" being revamped, and a few new members joining the group. From there, the group has been quite inactive, only receiving a few updates since 2023.

The Circus of The West. (Originally named "The Circus!")[]
This is the current main game for Clowns of the West. This game serves as the main circus for the group, holding what you would typically find in a circus game, with a ferris wheel, roller coaster, and various carnival games scattered throughout. Similar to CITS, many famous people in the community hold some sort of reference in this game - whether it be a little nod, their character being in game, or even them having a whole stand.
The Circus! [2017][]
The first circus game was made shortly after the groups creation by ClockJpg. It served as the main game up until the creation of The Circus of the West. The new game took the place of the old one for a couple months, but would later be re-uploaded on 9/28/23 as a seperate game which is what you see linked above. It holds great value and memories to those who were around for that era.

- "Clowns of the West." is allied with "The Circus In The Sky", as well as a few other Clown Myth groups.
- On January 5, 2020, SonicTheShoopDaWoop became the owner of the group. Dysphen then regained control of the group later in the month.
- Rillsins’ original account Haha was terminated around late 2018/early 2019.
- Rillsins’ original account was made in 2006, making them one of the first clowns and one of the first myths on Roblox.
