Distorted Reality is a game created by IAm_TheKey. This game focuses on a childhood that takes place in a village. The mysteries of this game has attracted many hunters to seek the truth for themselves of this odd village.
Overview[]
Distorted Reality is a game created by IAm_TheKey. Distorted Reality consists of many teleporters within their gameplay that showcases most of their story. Supposedly, Distorted Reality tells the story of IAm_TheKey’s childhood. As the player explores Distorted Reality they find objects symbolizing a being trapping Key. “Her” or “She” is often referred to in this game as the villain in the story, She is found trapping Key in some sort of imagination land or reality
Walkthrough[]
The player spawns in a grassy area, surrounded by many things such as statues and teleporters. If the player walks straight and takes an immediate left they will find three statues, one of them is half-buried in the ground. Heading back near the spawn area the player will find some portals. The player is able to enter the yellow portal.
Upon entering the yellow portal, the player is teleported to “Transcendence {transcendencja}“. The player finds themselves in a large area full of cages and NPC’s. The player can find several dialogues upon entering specific places.
Heading back to Distorted Reality, the player can take a right from spawn once more. They will find an orange portal next to the previous yellow one. Behind the portal is some sort of an animal skull. The player can enter the orange portal, they will be brought to “IAm_TheKey’s Place Number 1”. They will find themselves in a dark map surrounded by trees. One tree has a text box saying “Leave.” on it. The player can walk forward and enter a small house, upon exiting the house they will find another text box. It reads “Sometimes there are things in this world that you just want to forget”. In the distance there is a large skull following the player with its eyes wherever they walk. Walking forward, there is another small house however this one is empty.
At Distorted Reality, the player can take a right from spawn and enter the purple portal, next to the orange portal. The player is teleported to Land of Oblivion {kraina zapomnienia}“ The player spawns in a very purple environment with a ghost-like avatar. It shows a town full of similar-looking people. Several NPC’s blend in with the townspeople and become hostile when approached by the player. The town is filled with many empty houses.
Back at Distorted Reality, the player can walk forwards from spawn and take the left path. They will find white, floating words that read “She controls everything.” Climbing their way up the player will find a house. The house will appear empty however there is an axe in the middle of the room. The player can then climb on top of the house, they will find a ladder connecting the house to another piece of land. Jumping down from this piece of land, the player will find a house with checkered floors. There is nothing inside this house, there is a hole in the roof. Climbing back up past the checkered home there’s a portal surrounded by floating grass blocks. The player is teleported to “stay”. There’s a home filled with an oven, a bed, and bookshelves. There will be many floating islands surrounding the new area. A figure will be found standing on one of these islands, another island has a broken-down stone structure.
At Distorted Reality, the player should head past the three portals near spawns and make a left. The player should find a ladder, after climbing the ladder they should find some text reading “You lied”. There are floating steps the player can jump on and they will notice some chopped wood. The player should climb a trunk connecting the previous island to another one. They should then jump across several more floating steps to find an empty island. Before climbing the ladder, the player should find a portal in the corner, they will be teleported to “IAm_TheKey’s Place Number 2” The player will find themselves surrounded by many dialogues.

Inside one of the walls, there is a figure with a mask half-showing. On the floor, there are tracks leading to the end of the map. A figure once walked here and now jumped off the ledge.
