"Gerafu haa duda. Utt Haa Iustry"

― Doomswind's Profile

("Open The Door.  Use The Code")

Doomswind is an inactive myth best known for being featured in a Flamingo video and a previous affiliation with the Subtraction myth group. This myth alludes to an extraterrestrial creature on a red, stone planet with a closely related user, fatetrail. There is very little content either of these myths offer alike many of the various Subtraction members.

Biography[]

Doomswind is an extraterrestrial being that lives on a planet named “Dresuvo”.[1] This world is depicted in all of his games, and is clearly very abundant in resources. Any attempt at civilization has perished and all that remains are ruins and a ritual site of doomswind’s. What is exactly being worshiped or controlled is unclear but it may relate back to the apparent infection depicted in fatetrail’s game, or possibly even the magical orb that appears in his games. A rook chess piece has also been used as a symbol throughout his games but again, there isn’t any confirmation for how it relates back to him.

History[]

Doomswind joined Roblox on December 22nd, 2017. However, it wasn’t until September 30th, 2018, that he would create his most popular game, “Ryab Racek”. His activity is largely unknown for the first year, but his account most likely remained empty in terms of friends and groups. Both “Ryab Racek” and “Oisaey Duda” were public during this time and he accumulated around 1.5k visits before April 2019,[2] when Flamingo would investigate the myth. Doomswind also changed his avatar to its current state that year before the end of March, which probably went along with the addition of fatetrail to the myth in early March. Near the end of the month, hunters began noticing and hunting doomswind. Two of these users were foxicarus and unidentifiedchris, experienced and respected myth hunters at the time. They both recorded some minuscule details about the myth and even seemed to have spread the discovery of a secret room in “Represent” and “Oisaey Duda”.[3]

Doomswind’s popularity and recognition exponentially grew after April 10th, when Flamingo uploaded a video investigating multiple small myths that included both doomswind and fatetrail. Although he didn’t reach far in the games, he found them quite interesting which resulted in a couple thousand visits for doomswind. Within the following April or May, doomswind made a third game public, “Ollo Ha“. Its creation and development happened around the same time as Flamingo’s video. During this same time frame, he was said to have joined Roblox’s Myths with a “freerank”.[4] However, he was soon demoted as late as May 5th, 2019, and left this group. This was most likely due to the myth only “caring for fame” after the video and becoming Roblox friends with mrflimflam. This was because he had added an apparent “Albert” text within one of his games,[5] which was considered breaking character.

There weren't many updates or hints at new content following these events, even with a relationship with Flamingo, until later on in September 2020, when Subtraction was created and many small, obscure myths were added to the private group. Among these myths were doomswind and fatetrail as this group also obtained attention from Flamingo, leading to more exposure for them. Unfortunately, the two accounts barely showed any participation with the group and they were demoted during Subtraction’s reformation in 2021. This caused the two to leave the group and continue their inactivity. Doomswind did not shown any signs of activity after this, besides logging in to check on his account every once in a while. The same applies to fatetrail. However, Robloxian Myth Hunters announced an investigation on the revamped Subtraction on 11/08/2021, which included some hunting of doomswind and fatetrail four days later. Eventually, myth hunters Mr_OOFAlot and rthrogreattroll finalized a report on doomswind on the behalf of RMH.[6]

This remained to be the case up until the 21st of February, 2023, when both accounts went online shortly to make quick adjustments to their game. Two hunters, kingcorky and MeumNomen, took note of this and joined doomswind whilst he was in "Oisaey Duda" and were allowed access to the contents behind the door. They also managed to receive the code for the final gate in "Ryab Racek", something which had never been publicly known of.

On March 4th, 2023, doomswind would reappear once more and slightly modified his games, replacing any of the rook decals with scribbled variants, as to demonstrate carvings in the wall. He would also replace any text in his games, such as the ones near the gate in "Ryab Racek", with decals of the same text, stylized to look like actual writing. Along with changing the writing, he would also add some additional pieces of text throughout Ryab Racek along with some other minor effects.

Appearance[]

Doomswind wears a “Rough Transparent Texture Shirt” and “Rough Transparent Texture Pants” as their only form of clothing. Although, these items only act as detail to the surface of their character rather than actual clothing. His body consists of a “Block Head” that is red, a black torso, red arms, and black legs. Additionally, doomswind’s original avatar consisted of just a mix of pale and pink body parts. He also apparently wore a small hat for a short period of time, but it is unknown which hat it was exactly.[7]

Personality and Traits[]

There are only a few sightings of Doomswind in-game so it is difficult to determine what he acts like in public instances. However, he has been said to only understand the “Doomswinds" language and would be unresponsive to English. There are no records to prove this idea but the theory is possible. Apparently, he prefers to stay isolated away from people and tries his best to not speak to them.

Ryab Racek (Red Stone)[]

“Ryab Racek” or “Red Stone”, is the first game that was featured on doomswind’s account and leads to the second, “Oisaey Duda” or “Closed Door”. This introduction to the myth features the remains of some sort of civilization based on a completely red, stone world that doomswind appears to live in. The story related to this world and doomswind’s relationship is undescribed, but it hints at levels of ritualistic tendencies and pride in culture. [8] The game uses a multitude of mechanics to continue through the game with most of them involving finding an item or button.

Once the player spawns into “Ryab Racek”, they will be in the diverse plains of an otherworldly, red planet with the pillars and ruins of some structures.[9] The first thing they will need to find is one of two buttons, with both leading to different paths in the game. The first is by a collapsed pillar near the right mountain from where the player spawns. On the back should be a button that will change the time of day to night with an accompanied sound. Also, a symbol can be spotted in this sky from a similar position to the button. This button should have also spawned the second half of the truss connected to the large mountain nearby. At the top, an opening to a cave should be present with some more symbols, objects, and ruins. This time, the player should attempt to climb these ruins in order to obtain a key from the top.[10] Another button was also added here to change the game back to daylight. Continuing down the cavern, they will find a hole that drops into a dark slabbed room. Here, there is a locked door and a fifty minute timer. The key is used to open this door rather than the timer, which seemingly is only a trick and doesn’t actually activate anything. The path itself contains a doomswind phrase within, translating to "Life Out There Is Bad Enough". The path will then bring the player to another locked gate. The code to this gate is currently unknown. However, before March 4th, 2023, it was opened by saying, “Gerafu Haa Duda, a phrase from doomswind’s profile back in 2019. Besides the gate is the text, “Only Some Lucky Ones Can Get Through The Gate”, written in the Doomswinds language. The player could then follow a pathway that leads to a dead end. However, if the player detoured, they could find parts of the map that were probably not supposed to be seen. These parts contain almost nothing, except for a few models in one area.[11]

Heading back to the spawn area, the player can find the second button on the back of a pillar near the back of the area. This should cause a giant translucent ball to roll near the hill, which will teleport them to “Oisaey Duda” if touched.

Oisaey Duda (Closed Door)[]

Starting out here, it is obvious there isn’t much to this open cavern the player is in. Although there are some ruins and symbols, there isn’t any progression involved to them. The black door that the game surrounds is also obviously present, but unfortunately cannot be opened without doomswind in-game. This is because only he spawns with a key to open it. However, in the possibility the player does gain access to the hallway after the door, they should continue down what is assumed to be a giant hallway to an eventual ritual room.[8] Here, there will be an interactable book which will cause some sort of cutscene to end the game. This is the end of the game and it is unknown what it exactly means. However, back at the spawn location, a clickable section on the back wall can be interacted with to reveal a fake wall with a “Void Star Crown” hat stuffed inside. The player can wear this item by touching it, but it seemingly doesn’t have any purpose.

Ollo Ha (Olla Friend)[]

This game was the last of the three which wasn’t really perceived well by hunters who were already investigating doomswind. There is very little to it just like “Oisaey Duda”, just with even less content. The only mechanics are moving unanchored objects to get progressively, nowhere.

First, the player should notice a brick wall amongst the other flat, red wall. A few blocks can be pushed out because they are unanchored but the following area cannot be accessed. It is assumed this was either unfinished or just meant to waste time because there seems to be nothing further into it. However, there are also some symbols that spell out “END” along the wall. The large pillar that is against the wall has another ball on it that can be knocked down. It can be moved around but there is nothing that can be done with it to progress. This is apparently the end of the game.

Groups[]

Subtraction[]

Subtraction was the only myth group doomswind has ever been a member of, but decided to leave the group alongside fatetrail after they were seemingly demoted during a revamp in 2021. Both members were ranked as “Washington”,[4] which was rather noteworthy among the hundreds of other accounts. “Ryab Racek” was included in the “Game Hub”, and doomswind once commented “What Are You Trying To Say” in his language on the group wall in February 2020. [12]

Relationships[]

Fatetrail[]

Fatetrail is doomswind’s only friend currently, and once held the “Washington” rank in Subtraction alongside him. Different from doomswind, he seemingly understands English and has inverted colors to him. While doomswind is an actual character, fatetrail is theorized to represent as something, possibly having to do with an apparently dark infection that is spreading across the world in “Represent”.

Theories[]

  • The goblet and castle figurines are considered symbols of enjoyment and protection on Dresuvo.
    • The rooks and goblets are nearly everywhere in all of doomswind’s games, including drawings of the castles or rooks on the walls. Although they are used to make the game feel less empty, they are repeated an excessive amount.
    • The goblets may have shown that these locations containing them were safe enough for the natives of Dresuvo to relax and drink. Additionally, the rooks also present in these places can be symbols of protection due to the apparent harshness of Dresuvo.
      • These castles may also be marks for places that are safe from the infection that has been theorized about from “Represent”.
  • The Dark spots on Doomswinds body are related to the disease referenced in fatetrail's game.
    • “Represent” contains this black growth that is spreading across the red land as a cavern begins to be covered by the substance. This makes it seem like it is an infection or disease that has already taken over fatetrail.
    • Doomswind’s appearance features a black color partially covering some of his limbs as if he were burnt really bad. However, this may be the infection spreading onto him instead.
      • This may lead to the purpose of his apparent rituals present in “Oisaey Duda”. Whether it be for prolonging the inevitable or encouraging it.

Trivia[]

  • The Doomswinds language is also spoken by two other myths, Iezar and Degzie. Due to the use of the same work and the similar obscure style to the myths, the accounts may share an owner.
  • Doomswind has been considered unsolved due to runes featured throughout all of his games having never been deciphered, and partially because of the brick wall in “Ollo Ha”. Although, chances are it is unfinished and contentless.
  • Originally, doomswind was said to only be a desert in 2017 when the myth was first created.[4] There are no saved records of this state of the myth though.
  • InterestingMyths follows both doomswind and fatetrail among many other myth databases like MythArchiver. In fact, InterestingMyths is the reason Flamingo discovered these two myths.
  • There seemingly was once a Twitter account made by Doomswind, but it has since been suspended. It is unlikely there were any notable pieces of content there, but that is not for certain.[13]
