GAS STATION R0FL is a game made by Foomy_1982 which showcases a gas station outside of Foomy’s town, The 1982s.

Overview[]

Following the death of 1981, the police narrowed down nearly more than half of the townspeople as suspects for his murder. As presented in the game, the player intends to find a way to town and start a personal investigation to narrow down the real culprit, suspect or not. Throughout the game, the 1982s manage to make their games both aesthetically appealing and interactive, creating certain items you can click on, prompting dialogue, and in some cases, benefitting the player to finding secrets. With their classic 90s RPG inspired methodology, the uniqueness of their myth's concept and builds bring a sense of refreshness for hunters searching for something new.

Walkthrough[]

GAS STATION R0FL![]

Once the player has joined the game, greeting them should be a blue VHS-like loading screen, consistent in nearly all of the 1982s games. Following afterward, they should then spawn onto a road with a gas station across the way. The player should then take the opportunity to accompany themselves to their surroundings and environment, guaranteeing to make use of their cursor to check for interactable objects in and outside of the building. Furthermore, directing their attention to the gas pumps, the player should then make their way to the farther back pump--placing their cursor on the ground until a question mark appears. Beneath this prompt is a secret passage, and should the player choose to adjust themselves so they can enter, presenting them will be small, narrow hallways.

After making their way through the maze, the player's gaze should set onto a figure in the corner; one who takes on the appearance of the old mayor, 1981. They could be extremely cautious, however, as any contact made with the old mayor will forcefully result in their game crashing. Moreover, if the player returns to the surface to progress instead, they should then make their way to the end of the road and click on the invisible barrier, which prevents them from going any further. This action should insinuate a teleport, taking them to “The highway...".

The Highway...[]

Upon loading in, the player's avatar will be on a sidewalk on the road. From this point, the player should walk forward until they encounter a large number of rocks blocking the road, with the option of clicking on the area to receive extra dialogue on the situation. On the right-hand side, there should be a large boulder separated from the rest of the pile, although this rock is different from the rest. On the surface of the boulder is an off-color stud, which should prompt a question mark if made contact with the player's mouse. If clicked, the stud should turn black and act as a lever of sorts, opening a passageway not too far. Furthermore, the player should walk up against the right-hand side cliff until they encounter an opening in the wall, making their way through the eerie corridor. At the very end, the player's mouse should once again act as a prompt to teleport, as once they click on the invisible barrier, they will take to "The trailer...".

The Trailer[]

Immediately after joining the game, bestowing the player, as the name says, is a trailer. The player should take time to explore the building for fundamental details, as well as small, fun aspects such as the kitchen. After the player feels satisfied with their search, they should then return to spawn, facing the trailer. From this point forward, they should climb up the right-hand side barrier cliff surrounding the home, eventually leading to a non-collidable wall. Inside this small cavern are lines of parkour; depending on the player's skill level, it may be a bit strenuous to complete. In the case the player does manage to complete the obstacle course, at the end will be a flashlight. Once the player has received a badge for their accomplishment, they are free to leave and return to "The highway..." where the item gives access to a new area, the cave.

The Cave...[]

After going back the way they came, the player should then spawn into The Highway... as if they had entered through "GAS STATION r0fl!". Proceeding this, the player should make their way to the end of the left-hand side cliff and climb to the top until they reach the entrance to what seems like a small cavern. Making contact with the abyss that presents them will then teleport them to "The cave...". Otherwise, if the player has not retrieved the flashlight prior, they will be kicked upon entry.

The cave is a very complex, maze constructed area. Henceforth, it is a bit burdensome to give a precise explanation of where the player should go to and be. Moreover, utilizing their resources, the player may freely use the map below to explore their surroundings, with each button labeled with a number corresponding to the entryway they open, and unlabelled “hidden door”s being non-collidable walls.

Nonetheless, there are a few crucial things worth mentioning before the player sets off on their expedition. Once the player discovers the non-collidable wall near the upper right, they will come across a riddle near the "2" labeled button on the map. After careful inspection, they should conclude the answer to be "memory card". Upon saying this keyword in chat, the mysterious trap door inside the snake-like hallway nearby should open temporarily. Should the player choose to enter, although advised not to, they will be dropped into a containment chamber of sorts, and there will be a lever on the wall. Once clicked, the back wall will disappear, and drawn to the player's presence will be a mysterious, black figure. If this creature manages to touch them, the player's game will crash, accommodated by a loud noise.

However, the cave is not complete as of now. Once the player reaches the exit to the cave, they will be kicked upon entry to the preceding game, “The party…”.
