Mah crib focuses on Beetrenice’s home where the player can follow a path of lily pads and fireflies across the swamp. It has lots of notes around the game and a teleport that connects to one of Beettsy’s games. Mah crib is related to the Nightfall Time myth.
Overview[]
Mah crib is a game created by Beetrenice. It takes place in a swamp on Cocoon Island where Beetrenice lives. Mah crib uses an obby and many notes to progress throughout the game. The notes that are found scattered across the map from an unknown person, who wants to teach Beetrenice their ways to help them change the place that they reside. This seems to not be the place where Beetrenice’s original kingdom was. There are also scrolls that have knowledge about the queen bees. At the end of Mah crib, there is a teleport to one of Beettsy’s games.
Walkthrough[]
Once the player spawns, they will be inside of a tree that they can climb and find lots of miscellaneous items in. At the doorway of the tree, there is a sign that says “Let the fireflies be your guide through the dark.” Outside of the tree, there are fireflies that form a line across the map. Following them will lead to a large body of water which can kill the player if touched. The player will need to follow the fireflies by jumping across lily pads to get across the water.
At the start of the obby, there is a fish in the water with a ripped note on it. The note reads “for I am your guidance.” Shortly after, another piece of paper can be found on some wood. It reads “I will teach you my ways”. Later down the lily pads and fish, there is another ripped paper on a fish that says “to save this condemned land”. Nearby, there is another paper that has “and convert it into a place we belong” written on it. The player will reach a point where they are now jumping to mushrooms. Inbetween these mushrooms, there is another note that reads “Therefore, you were gifted with that capacity”. On the beach, there are the remains of a small hut with scrolls around it. One scroll states, “The Bee court symbol represents each queen bee with its respective symbols.” another says “can help a bee carry a lot of nectar. Though in order to progress, we must go against our own nature, collecting nectar won’t”, and the final scroll has “The queen’s uninterest has resulted in major issues to our own colony, despite that, we were not allowed to call for any exterior help due to trust issues.” written in it.
Further down the beach, there is a large maze of tall bushes. Near the start of this maze, there is another ripped piece of paper with “and turn our dream” written on it. Somewhere in the maze, there is a centipede laying on the ground. If the player goes around the bushes, they can access the center of the area where they will find a dead crow. Into the left side of the bushes, there is a cave entrance with a note in front of it. The note states, “Please, trust the man with white eyes”. Going inside of the cave entrance will teleport the player to a game called “Ruins” by Beettsy.

Theories[]
- The notes across the map were delivered by the dead crow and were written by one of the “Shadow Monsters”.
- The dead crow has the black substance around it which are from the unknown beings.
- There is a picture of a bird carrying a note in one of the bee’s games.
- Once the crow delivered the notes, it became weak and could not sustain the being that possessed it.
- Mopherius discovered that if the host the being possesses is too weak, it will die.
- There are crows at Story Time, Mopherius’ game, he could have been possessed and wrote the note.
- If one is friends with Beetrenice, she could bring them to her other game, Deal, where she will have a deal for the player and tell them who wrote the note. Therefore, this can be false.
