October is about a spirit under the name of Pilgrimist who torments civilians during the season Autumn. Pilgrimist seems to not like the human race, he thinks of them as greedy.
Overview[]
October is a game created by Pilgrimist. It uses teleports and little writing throughout the games. October is about a spirit, who is Pilgrimist, terrorizing the civilians during the season, Autumn. Pilgrimist is also found sitting a table where he seems to celebrate Thanksgiving, along with a memorial of stackedhay with text that calls the human race greedy.
Walkthrough[]
Once the player spawns, they will be in an area where they can see StackOfPumpkins. Following the path that leads to the barn, the player can find a ladder on the right side and climb up it. On the second floor, the player can see Sojournerist moving hay. In one of the windows, there is a spiderweb with a translucent figure sitting there. The player can click this figure which will teleport them to “Temple Of Autumn.”
Once the player spawns, they can see Pilgrimist sitting at a table with lots of food on it. By the bookshelves, there is a statue with “stackedhay, REST IN UNHOLY GREED” written at the bottom of it.
Back at October, there is a scarecrow in the middle of the field that the player can click. Clicking the scarecrow will cause the player to teleport to “Spirit’s Destruction.” Here, everything has been tipped over or destroyed and the two citizens are sad. The player can see Pilgrimist as a spirit, floating above StackOfPumpkins.

October was created on 8/1/2020, and was last updated on 1/9/2021. It grew in popularity the most in October and November.

Theories[]
- The ghost watching over Sojournerist might have been stackedhay.
- Sojournerist is stacking haybales
- The ghost will bring the player to a game with a memorial of stackedhay
- Pilgrimist is angered by the greed of humans and takes out their anger on the townspeople of October.
- In The Temple of Autumn. Pilgrimist is found eating alone at a table, a statue honoring stackedhay’s memory nearby. A sign reads “The Greedy Damned Human Race”
- It is possible that either stackedhay was influenced by greed and others, causing him to be killed by Pilgrimist or it was just Pilgrimist taking out their anger on them.
- In Spirit’s Destruction the title most likely refers to Pilgrimist. This means all the destruction and sadness upon the town was caused by them. Pilgrimist may be on a journey to abolish all greed.
