"Just because I'm the youngest doesn't mean I'm naive" ― OldKingKoal stating to myth hunters that he isn't easy to persuade
OldKingKoal is the third child to be converted into the Nursery Myths family but is the youngest in age. His named is based on a Grimm fairy tale - "Old King Cole". He is currently in Terroah's hold, making him one of the converted scarecrows in Terroah's show.
Biography[]
OldKingKoal is one of several myths classified as a Nursery Myths, of which he is the third in the order given to us. He is based on the 18th century British nursery rhyme “Old King Coal”. His game, “Old King Coal”, hints towards the fourth Nursery Myth, HickoryDoc.
OldKingKoal, like the rest of the Nursery Myths, was once under the care of FatherGrimm, who was said to be an abusive caretaker. He and SolomonGrundee were the only two of the six to not have been abducted by HIM. Where Solomon was kidnapped by Ulifer, the resident Shadelight child predator, OldKingKoal met a grimmer fate. He was invited to the “Terroah Show”, run by another of the Shadelight myths, Terroah. The Terroah Show is only view-able by children, and all those who star on it are killed, with the exception of Terroah. OldKingKoals current appearance is a result of his debut on the gruesome TV show, from which he was turned into a scarecrow. Resulting from this incident, hunters learned that OldKingKoal had been killed by Terroah in the process, and while FatherGrimm has resigned himself to the fate of Koal, he still holds onto hope for his other son, Solomon.
History[]
OldKingKoal joined Roblox on July 9th, 2015, with his game "Old King Cole" being created shortly after. The game received its last update on July 25th. Koal was last seen online on March 18th, 2019.
Appearance[]
OldKingKoal currently wears the "Evil Scarecrow" hat, and the "Scarecrow" shirt and pants. He also uses the "Man" bundle.
Personality and Traits[]
OldKingKoal is an intellectual child that's more mature than even SolomonGrundee's attitude. He is completely loyal to FatherGrimm and the white demon but does not like them at all.
He also makes fun of HumpteeDumptee because of his insecure nature and his loneliness causing him to play with dead bodies.
Koal is completely reliant on his father, causing him to panic when there was no one to save him from the white demon when he feared that he would also be abducted.
Although Koal is obedient to his father, he is also independent of completing his own goals, even if it means for him to get help from others.
Koal is also knowledgeable about Shadelight and the white demon. It has been said that the orb that the white demon is holding in his game represents Shadelight.
When Koal became converted, he started using emotes in order to communicate due to his mouth being stitched by Terroah. He rejects anyone who offers to take off the stitches due to his life being infused with them.
Abilities[]
King Koal has the ability to see through the white demon, which allows him to see what darkness is inside of him. He also might have the insight of what Shadelight's true place looks like. This is shown by the black orb that the white mannequin is holding in Chuck's basement.
He also has looked into Goldity's intentions, making him not trust Goldity at all.

Old King Cole[]
The player spawns on the front wall of the castle. The building is surrounded by trees with almost no leaves, suggesting it's late autumn or winter. In the inner courtyard of the castle, there is a crucifix and nine coffins behind it. Behind the building, there is also a clock and a small mouse right next to it - a reference to HickoryDoc.
Besides, there is also another secret. To get to it, the player needs to return to the castle walls (they can do it by simply resetting their character). Then, they should head off to the not-connected walls. The hardest part is jumping into the gap and landing on the first floor. After they do it, they should be right around the corner. The player now walks down the hallway until they see a wall. If they touch it, they will get teleported to a secret room.

- He cannot speak, due to Terroah sewing his mouth shut.
- He is 6 years old.
- Koal knows a lot about his sister, Red, but has never met her.
- He knows of Ulifer and Solomon's status.
- OldKingKoal knows Terroah's key in the Shadelight investigation.
- He is currently a "prop" on Terroah's show, prop means dead in this case.
- He can see through Goldity’s soul and was able to see his true intentions, therefore causing Koal not to trust Goldity.
- One of the castle's walls isn't connected to the other.
- It is probably intentional since the gap between the walls is used to enter the secret room.
