"This serves as a hub." ― Naxxramis

Shrine is the main game, which serves as a hub for other games created by Naxxramis. The building style used in it is unique and bold. Their games express the Core's power and the destruction it has caused.

Overview[]

Naxxramis' game mainly showcased concepts relating to the Core. It is not known whether the Core is a living being or a disease as the Core is always changing; it is a threat nonetheless. Naxxramis' games show what the Strazaroth warriors have gone through fighting off this entity. The city is said to be broken down and in ruins. Naxxramis' games show the struggle the warriors are forced to go through, living in difficult conditions.

Walkthrough[]

The player spawns in a small place, surrounded by some rocks. There is a gate with a note placed on a rock next to it. After decrypting it we get the following words: “The Gates of Strazaroth".

Fret[]

Touching the sword named “Fret” in the hub will teleport the player to the game. Inside the game, there is a gate with a riddle: "They rise from their graves remembering the last thing they did”.

Isle[]

The game takes place in winter. The player spawns on a small island surrounded by frozen water. A Strazaroth warrior is sitting by the fire, warming themselves up. The player can also spot another Starazoth, this time sitting on a stone, looking out into the distance. There is a strange symbol on the ice resembling an encircled stone rhombus. Touching the symbol will teleport the player to "Static.". The player can also get taken to a long pile of dirt seen in the distance. There is a note on it saying: "They all prayed, but he never answered." along with a black creature, the (presumably) previously mentioned "he".

One day, he will bless us all.[]

Upon entering a concealed door, the player is teleported to a game called "One day, he will bless us all.". The player is spawned in a stone maze that contains secrets. After discovering a plate, they will be taken to a chained-up figure surrounded by papers reading: "BEG FOR FORGIVENESS". The player will be kicked out of the game if they touch this figure. When the player steps on another plate, they will be teleported to a place with a note which reads: "We will face his wrath."

Ruins[]

To get to the game, the player has to touch a special Strazaroth sword. The game seems to be in the aftermath of a huge battle; dead warriors can be found on the floor. Flowers are starting to sprout, suggesting that the game takes place long after the battle. The game's description says: “The forgotten past turns to haunt us", meaning that the soldiers are still being harmed by something.

Static.[]

The description of the game says: “Where is it?”, meaning there is something to find. In the game, there is a praying warrior with a piece of paper next to them, which reads: "Not yet.". There is also another note, which has the word "Strazaroth" and the symbol on it. The player has to pick up the paper and touch the radio on the ground. After touching the radio, the sky changes from pink to black, radio static starts to play loudly, and a black cube spins wildly. Touching it will restore your character, and everything will become normal again.

History[]

On September 2nd, 2019, a Roblox YouTuber, Stalzie, was invited by Naxxramis to the opening of Strazaroth’s Gates, which will open a week later. The game was released on June 30, 2020, as a hub for all of their games. It is claimed that much has changed with their games from when they first started. Some of their older games may have been scrapped and restarted.

Theories[]

  • The Core is neither a disease nor a being that discourages its victims and drives them insane.
  • The words being recited in “One day, he will bless us all.” can distract and conflict the minds of the Strazarothians and cause them to slowly fall apart. Once fully under the trance, they are forced to “beg for forgiveness”.
    • Warriors can be mentally broken by the core, which is extremely powerful.
    • The warriors at The Gates of Strazaroth had surrendered because they had no other choice.
    • It was confirmed that the warriors were fighting against the Core.
    • It was also confirmed that the Core is a constantly-changing entity. It can be both a disease and a physical being.
    • The Core is constantly changing so humans are unable to see it or even imagine it.
    • There is a city hidden behind the Gates.
